Fifth Street Gallery - 55 W. Taft Museum of Art - 316 Pike St. - (513) 241-0343 - Built in 1820, this National Historic Landmark is considered one of the finest small art museums in America. The Federal period building displays nearly 700 works of art, including European and American paintings by masters such as Rembrandt, Sargent, Turner, Hals, and Whistler; Chinese porcelains; and European decorative arts. The Museum reopened in 2004 after extensive renovations. The expansion doubled the size with a new special exhibitions gallery, redesigned terrace and gardens, parking garage, cafe, and Museum Shop.

University Galleries on Sycamore - 628 Sycamore St. - (513) 241-1400 - The new permanent exhibition space for the University of Cincinnati's Fine Arts Collection opened October 15, 2005 featuring three gallery spaces. The Main Gallery houses the collection on a permanent basis, the Focus Gallery allows for rotating exhibitions of delicate pieces from the permanent collection, and the Changing Exhibition Gallery also rotates featuring the work of local and regional artists and designers, as well as DAAP faculty and students.
